A. The beating of Himmelstoss shows that man is naturally sinful and malicious, and that man wishes to overthrow those who are above them.
B. Himmelstoss embraces the saying "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely" sinfully. Himmelstoss is a hypocrite with this because he teaches his men to not let power corrupt them even though he is corrupted by his power.
C. Mercy killing is evil at all times and can never be justified. Even during a war.killing a wounded soldier so that they do not have to endure pain is playing God. Why should you kill the soldier when maybe God would like to preform a miracle. plus it is one of the ten commandments that you should not murder.
